Mark McCabe has been Head of Grid at Boralex UK since April 2025, leading grid connection activity across the company’s renewable portfolio. He oversees projects from early feasibility and pre-application through to connection and energisation, ensuring grid strategy is embedded in development. Mark began his career at SSE, progressing from the contact centre to technical, operational and policy roles within SSEN Transmission, where he managed renewable connections including Limekiln Wind Farm. At Boralex, he develops connection strategies and advises project teams, while contributing to industry groups on grid reform, TNUoS and process improvements to support reliable, large-scale renewable deployment.
