<a href="https://profiles.ljmu.ac.uk/12945-komang-ralebitso-senior" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Dr Komang Ralebitso-Senior</a>&nbsp;is Reader in Microbial Ecology and Associate Dean (Diversity and Inclusion) for the Faculty of Health, Technology, Innovation and Science at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). Her forensic science research interests are on harnessing microbial community structure and function to help protect unique ecosystems and to understand the post‑mortem microbial ecology. Some of her work on forensic ecogenomics is included in &lsquo;A Bibliography Related to Crime Scene Interpretation with Emphases in Forensic Geotaphonomic and Forensic Archaeological Field Techniques&nbsp;(Edition 19)&rsquo;, compiled by FBI Special Agent Michael Hochrein, La Roche College, USA. Komang is member of the Forensic Science Regulator Non-Human Biology Specialist Sub-Group. She contributes to the development of policy statements on soil health in the face of climate change, with considerations for forensic microbiology, via activities as&nbsp;<a href="https://appliedmicrobiology.org/membership-community/global-ambassadors/global-ambassadors.html#tab-accordion-B39AC06F-18EA-4CC9-A4E50AB8FD027FF6" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Global Ambassador</a>&nbsp;and Chair of the&nbsp;<a href="https://appliedmicrobiology.org/advocacy-policy/development-goals.html" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Climate Action Advisory Group</a>&nbsp;(SDG 13) for&nbsp;<a href="https://appliedmicrobiology.org/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Applied Microbial International (AMI)</a>, and Co-Chair of the Search, Scene and Discovery Network of the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.ljmu.ac.uk/research/centres-and-institutes/forensic-research-institute/research-networks/search-scene-and-discovery" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">LJMU Forensic Science Research Institute (FORRI)</a>.&nbsp;
