Anthony completed the debt financing of NTR’s first Scottish onshore wind farm and directed the sale of 351MW of US operating wind assets. He also successfully led the financing of a number of UK renewable power projects. Anthony has held executive management roles in bioenergy and renewable power generation businesses across the NTR Group and has extensive environmental technology development and operational experience. Anthony was previously Development Director of Biffa, the leading UK environmental services business and prior to joining NTR worked in leadership positions for a number of companies in a private equity investment portfolio. Anthony also worked in corporate development for CRH plc and started his career with Andersen. He holds a B.Comm and M.Acc degree from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Pedro Amaral Jorge joined APREN in January 2018. He previously took a role at AfDB to work as private sector expert in developing and structuring Infrastructure , Energy, Water and Sanitation Projects in Africa, with focus in the Sub-Saharan Africa region, undertaking the mission of supporting AfDB executing Non-Sovereign Operations by funding Public Private Partnerships, Private Sector Enterprises as well as State Owned Enterprises, with a portfolio of financial tools, from project finance to risk mitigation. Pedro has a track record on EPC and Utility business development, financing, designing, building and management with more than 15 years of international work experience, having worked in Europe, South America, Africa and the Middle East. Pedro has 20 years’ experience in Top Management positions such as General Manager, Executive Board Member, Executive Director and CEO, in which he was responsible for strategic and investment planning and execution; business development; business planning, implementation and management; project development, project finance and corporate finance; financial analysis and management; project and contract management; M&A and negotiation. Pedro lead the development, execution, implementation and management of water and sanitation sustainable infrastructure, natural gas distribution infrastructure and renewable energy projects, all in different contract structures such as full PPP’s, Utility Concession, BOT, EPC, O&M, Engineering and Design, in several countries and continents. Pedro worked for AfDB, Mitsubishi/METITO, Mota-Engil, SACYR/SOMAGUE, IDOM, among others. Pedro has an Executive MBA in Finance and Operations from IESE/AESE as well as a MsC in Mechanical Engineering from IST – Instituto Superior Técnico.

Chris has 25 years’ experience in advocacy, policy research, thought leadership and campaigning on a wide variety of sustainability, energy and environmental issues. He was Head of Climate Change for the Environment Agency, providing advice to Government on climate change mitigation and adaptation. He has worked for a number of leading NGOs & government agencies, including successful advocacy for the Green Investment Bank at Green Alliance, global aviation research for the Committee on Climate Change, and more recently leading policy and advocacy for the Finance Innovation Lab.

A scientist by training, David is a founder member of the European trade body, AFASE and Chair of the Irish trade body, ISEA. In 2007, David founded BNRG Renewables a Dublin based solar company that develops, constructs and owns and operates large scale solar projects across the globe. Prior to founding BNRG, he spent over 13 years as a consultant in the private and public sectors, including several years in R&D for the EPA in Ireland. BNRG is focused on key markets with a 1.5GW portfolio in the US, Northern Europe and Australia. As the Company constructs out its projects it is growing the scale of its Independent Power Producer division.

Manager in the RES sector, with many years of experience in managing teams and projects in the field of green energy. He has been present in the industry since the very beginning of the development of renewable energy technologies in Poland. He has more than 16 years of experience in this market segment. For 11 years he coordinated projects within the structures of the German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex. For 3 years he gained experience in the RES segment at a Polish developer, GEO. Since 2020, he has managed the Polish branch of Lightsource bp, strengthening the company’s position in the CEE region. He is a graduate of the Stanisław Staszic University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Poland, majoring in: Electrical Engineering, specializing in Industrial Power Engineering. He completed his MBA at the Leon Koźmiński Academy, participating in the MBA for Engineers program.

Ioanna joined Aurora in October 2023. She is part of Aurora’s Southeastern Europe Power and Renewables Research team which offers market services in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia. Ioanna has 8 years of energy and environmental consulting experience.

Luka is responsible for bringing full-time coverage on the CEE/Italy power markets with a key focus on Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and the Balkan region.

Domenico has more than 15 years of experience in infrastructure investments, overseeing the investment process from origination and execution to value creation and exit. Domenico joined AIP in 2017 and has been instrumental in developing AIP’s investment strategy. He has played a key role in sourcing and executing various projects within AIP and has been significantly involved in several offshore investments. Prior to joining AIP, Domenico worked at Vestas, DONG Energy (now Ørsted), and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. He is a member of the Executive Management. He holds an Executive Master’s degree in Energy Management from ESCP Business School, an M.Sc. in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School. He is also a CFA charter holder and external lecturer at Copenhagen Business School.

Krzysztof Kadłubowski is a renewable energy investment professional with cross-functional experience within the sector. His career encompasses 10 years in corporate banking structured finance, about 3 years in Big4 financial advisory, and 6 years leading investment and business development in power sector companies. His track record includes successful execution of complex renewable energy transactions across the investment lifecycle, comprising project finance of wind farms, debt advisory and restructuring of renewable energy projects, large scale PV greenfield development and leading and closing acquisitions for large companies.
