Yolande Strengers is Professor of Digital Technology and Society in the Emerging Technologies Research Lab at Monash University, within the Faculty of Information Technology. She is Research Director of the Monash Energy Institute, an Australian Research Council Future Fellow, and an Associate Director of the Emerging Technologies Research Lab, where she leads the Energy Futures program. Yolande's research investigates how digital technologies, energy systems and AI are changing how we live. Her focus is on the energy, sustainability, health and equity outcomes of emerging technologies. She is currently co-leading the RACE for 2030 Scenarios for Future Living project, forecasting how people will live and use energy in the future.
