After completing undergraduate studies and awarded with a degree in Naval Architecture in 1989 from Yokohama National University, Japan, Mr. Y.F. Wang returned to Singapore and started his career as a civil servant with the Singapore Government. Later, in 1995, he joined ClassNK as a ship surveyor. In 1999, as a plan approval staff responsible for reviewing and approval of plans and drawings required for hull construction of new shipbuilding vessels, and from 2013 as the Manager of the plan approval center in Singapore. Currently, he is the General Manager of the center. In addition to his role as a General Manager of the center, he also delivers lectures and shares his experience at ClassNK Academy in Singapore as well as in the region.
