I am a Master's Candidate in Economics at the University of St. Gallen, currently finishing my courses and writing my master thesis. I work at the Institute for Insurance Economics (also at the University of St. Gallen). Together with Sarah Nordt, Dr. Martin Eling, Martin Lehmann and Maté Solymosi, I developed the gamification toolbox for insurance education ( http://app.ivw.unisg.ch/gamification/ ). The aim of the app is to provide a wide variety of teaching material concerning games and simulations to lecturers and professional educators to enhance their courses and their effects on the students/attendees. This toolbox won the Les B. Strickler Innovation in Instruction Award 2018 at the ARIA conference in Chicago, Illinois. We hope to broaden the positive impact of the app to many other fields of study. My fields of interest encompass insurance economics, insurance education, big data, e-learning and shaping the world for a better tomorrow.
