Craig Weiss is an e-learning expert, blogger, analyst and speaker. He is the founder and CEO of E-Learning 24/7, which provides LMS consulting services to buyers and advisory and analyst services to e-learning vendors. In 2015, he was named the most influential person in the world for e-learning. Craig writes the E-Learning 24/7 blog, which is read every week in 154 countries, territories and colonial territories. Since he launched the blog in late 2009, his forecasts and projections on e-learning have been over 90% accurate. Additionally, Craig launched a think tank for corporate online learning in May 2015. It is the first of its kind in the industry. He speaks around the world, with recent presentations in the United States, Saudi Arabia and Australia. Craig holds a Master of Science degree in Mass Communications from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island. He resides in Los Angeles, CA.

Sarah Finch

Actress, director, writer and workshop leader

Bio

Sarah is an accomplished British stage and screen actress, director, writer and workshop leader. In the theatre she has performed on London’s West End, with the Royal Shakespeare Company, with Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and toured with productions across North America and Europe. She regularly appears in TV productions on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and international channels and has many film credits. Sarah directs for the theatre in the UK and Italy. She is a founder member of The Lions Part touring company with whom she devised, directed and starred in the highly successful productions ‘Lilies on the Land’ and ‘Yours Ever Jane’. In the field of education and training, Sarah runs workshops and theatre courses all over the world. She has taught at Florida State University, the Universities of Ohio/ Miami and Drew. She runs the Shakespeare Course at Cuba’s National Drama School and leads workshops with young people in Jamaica as part of the ‘Strong without Violence’ project. Her workshops also take her regularly to Italy, Morocco and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. Sarah is passionate about using workshops to build confidence, clear communication and the skills of performance.

Her PhD, Noodle, Noodle, Cat: Extra-Subjective Agency in Web-based Art practice explored the complexities of artistic authorship under the production conditions of the web. She is Digital Learning Coordinator, University of the Arts London, and co-authored ‘ Discovering the Post-Digital Art School ’ with Professor Fred Deakin. Recent art commissions and projects include We Are All Addicts Now, a series of GIFS reflecting on social media addiction for Furtherfield Gallery and artist Katriona Beales , ‘What Happens If We Push This’ ‐ a participatory workshop for Tate Exchange exploring post-work society, and The Work We Want , a participatory project funded by The Space , exploring digital labour and the future of work.

I work as the E-learning Coordinator in Innlandet Hospital Trust, which covers the region where the Lillehammer Olympic Games were hosted in 1994. Since 2013 I have been the Regional E-learning Coordinator for the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority. The region has ten hospital trusts and five private non commercial hospitals. Together, 75.000 employees offer health services to 2,7 million people in the region, a total of 56 % of the population in Norway. The learning site in the region is identical in all Hospital Trust’s, and the e-learning Coordinators collaborate extensively on most aspects around the common learning site. It is my responsibility to lead this work. Before I started working for the Innlandet Hospital Trust in 2011, I worked ten years as a Communication Advisor, taught in High School two years, before I moved into higher education and was a Project Manager for Life-long Learning at the University College in Lillehammer.

Brian Mulligan is a Civil Engineer who originally worked in mathematical modelling and simulation and the application of information technology in engineering. He is currently on secondment as a Programme Manager responsible for online learning development in the Centre for Online Learning at the Institute of Technology Sligo where he has lectured since 1984. He has been the key driver in the rapid growth in online learning in IT Sligo since 2002 and significantly involved in the growth of e-learning in Ireland since 1999, organising the EdTech series of conferences since 2000 and as a founding member of the Irish Learning Technology Association in 2002. His main areas of expertise are now in web-casting, webinar management, synchronous online training, instructor-led online training, lecture capture, open education (MOOCs and OER) and the rapid development of online content. He currently is the leader of the Erasmus+ funded LoCoMoTion project on low-cost MOOC development.
