Tsubasa Ando is the representative of Technical Solution Department in Singapore, where he leads technical services related to emerging maritime technologies, including alternative fuels and decarbonization solutions. Since joining ClassNK in 2009 as a naval architect, he has served as a technical expert in the design and plan approval for liquefied gas carriers, as well as oil and chemical tankers. Before relocating to Singapore in April 2023, he worked at ClassNK Tokyo office and has been deeply involved in the development of liquefied hydrogen projects and alternative-fueled vessels. As one of ClassNK’s leading technical experts, he continues to contribute to innovative projects driving the maritime transitions toward a more sustainable future.
