Timothy Johnson is a Partner in NBBJ’s New York Office and is a leader in its commercial mixed-use and high-rise practice and urban healthcare practice. Tim’s award winning projects span the globe and include the Sail @ Marina Bay in Singapore and the Lunder Building at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. Tim is a member and past Chairman of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, member of the Urban Land Institute, and sits on a number of higher education Boards to assist in advancing the profession of architecture. Tim is also interested in how design and construction needs to evolve to serve the needs of society and the environment today and into the future. Pre-fabrication is a key part of that strategy. Tim’s Keppel South Central project, under construction, has been recognized with a BET ( Built Environment Transformation) award from Singapore’s Building & Construction Authority, which includes achieving substantial productivity score through pre-fabrication.
