Eng Yew is the Director of Bureau Veritas Regional Institute for Sustainability and Energy Transition (BV RISE) and has been with BV for more than 3 years. He developed solutions in testing, inspection and certification for clients’ journey towards Net Zero with projects in ASEAN as well as China, Australia and Korea. He is well versed with global standards and frameworks such as ISO, GHG Protocol, Verra, Gold Standard, GRI, TCFD, SBTi, ISAE, Green Bonds Principles, and GSTC. Eng Yew was Deputy Head at Singapore Prime Minister Office - National Research Foundation, overseeing national Energy R&D funding and Sustainability program coordination. He is an alumnus of Stanford University, USA with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering. Eng Yew has 15 years of experience spanning across the finance, transport and energy transition industries. Having been in both the government and private sectors, He is able to tap into his experience to advise on the role of ESG in many matters, ranging from how sustainable businesses attract high quality investors to how capital flows into carbon markets and green projects.

Mr David Tan is the Assistant Chief Executive Officer (Development Group) of JTC, Singapore’s lead government agency responsible for the planning and development of industrial infrastructure. Dr Jagannathan is well known in the industry as an expert on Sustainability and Climate Action and has more than 25 years of professional experience with a specific focus on developing Policies and frameworks for the built environment. As Senior General Manager, Sustainability at Sobha Realty, he is entrusted with the task of driving Sustainability and emission reduction strategies across the business value chain, embedding ESG principles across the group, and articulating them through climate reporting such as ESG, GHG and TCFD reports. He steered the development of Sobha’s climate road map and is currently driving the net zero transition for the group across all emission scopes. He was an active member of the built environment group set up by the UAE high level champions for developing the sustainability blueprint for built environment, which was published alongside COP28 in Dubai. In his earlier role as Sustainability Head at Trakhees a Regulatory authority in Dubai, he has designed, developed, and administered major policy tools surrounding energy efficiency, green building code and certification and was instrumental in establishing a robust infrastructure for their implementation. He was an active working group member in Emirate’s strategic programs including 2040 Master plan, Demand side management programs and Dubai Code unification. He is a part of Experts Working Group of GRESB Netherlands, an independent organization providing validated ESG performance data and peer benchmarks for investors and managers. He has participated as speaker in numerous events including COP 28, Vertical cities conference Singapore, and Cities Climate Action Summit UK. He believes the global race towards net zero poses the greatest opportunity for introspection, and innovation, which should not be missed.

In her role, she also supports development of the CO2 supply chain and facilitates regulatory change to accelerate the growing momentum behind sustainable construction and green building materials. Sylvia has over 20 years of experience in the built environment sector across the Asia Pacific region, with expertise in consulting, asset management, sustainability and smart buildings. Prior to joining KONE, Sylvia held various portfolios with CapitaLand, a Singapore based property developer, leading its “Office of the Future” strategy, developing and operationalizing its smart building/ estate vision, as well as leading CapitaLand’s first ever global sustainability innovation challenge. Sylvia was also a co-author of CapitaLand’s 2030 Sustainability Masterplan launched in 2021.
