Timothy manages the Control Risks’ West Africa office. Based in Lagos, Nigeria, he leads the consulting and security operations businesses, with over 140 personnel deployed across ten countries. His specialisms include crisis management & business continuity strategy planning, protective security and security consulting. Timothy has lived in West Africa since 2013, before which he was based in London with Control Risks’ Crisis Response department, which specialises in responding to kidnaps-for-ransom, piracy and other incidents of extortive crime. Timothy holds degrees from the University of Nottingham (B.A. European Politics) and the School of Oriental and African Studies, London, (MSc African Politics).
