Sylvia has over 20 years of experience in the built environment sector across the Asia Pacific region, with expertise in consulting, asset management, sustainability and smart buildings. Prior to joining KONE, Sylvia held various portfolios with CapitaLand, a Singapore based property developer, leading its “Office of the Future” strategy, developing and operationalizing its smart building/ estate vision, as well as leading CapitaLand’s first ever global sustainability innovation challenge. Sylvia was also a co-author of CapitaLand’s 2030 Sustainability Masterplan launched in 2021. Before CapitaLand, Sylvia was the Managing Director of JLL’s Asia Pacific Consulting business, assisting clients with asset and workplace strategies and was a pioneer in using data analytics and IoT technologies in client solutions. Other companies that Sylvia has worked with include General Electric, EY and Shell. Sylvia is deeply passionate about data, technology and sustainability, and believes that they are the key driving forces behind the evolution of the built environment sector.
