Suzanne Cooper is passionate about improving medication safety, with a focus on "safety by design". She has an extensive career background in medicines safety and governance and has worked in this specialist area of NHS hospital practice since 2009. She has also held academic roles in higher education institutions where she was responsible for developing and delivering education for pharmacy undergraduates and an interim role as Deputy Chief Pharmacist for Medicines Optimisation. Suzanne is currently the Medication Safety Officer for The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust and chairs the West Midlands Medication Safety Officers Network.
