<p>Simon is a code and regulatory professional with a vocational approach to helping others comply with legislated safety requirements. He has a broad background in fire safety, testing, certification, fire risk management, fire risk assessment, auditing of enhanced safety/quality management systems, and fire safety training. Simon has a strong knowledge of regulations and supporting standards, he currently sits on advisory and national guidance/standards working groups and represents UL Solutions on many trade body committees.</p> <p>In his current role, Simon is working in the UK and Europe, monitoring conformity requirements in the built environment. Supporting manufacturing clients to achieve regulatory compliance, thus providing regulatory authorities with the independent third-party assurance they need. Assurance that construction products on the market are tested and certified to the required standards and are fit for purpose.</p>
