Shurti is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at the University of Hertfordshire and a Senior Clinical Pharmacist in North London, with a special interest in the management of Type 2 diabetes in primary care. With over six years of experience running dedicated Type 2 diabetes clinics, she integrates clinical excellence with academic leadership to improve outcomes for people living with diabetes. At the University, she teaches across the MPharm degree programme with a particular emphasis on prescribing and long-term condition management, preparing the next generation of pharmacists to play a proactive role in diabetes care. Shurti also contributes to national diabetes strategy and research as a member of the Science and Research Advisory Group at Diabetes UK.
