Shane heads Tesla’s Business Development and Sales, Megapack in the Asia Pacific region, responsible for all industrial and utility scale energy storage projects. Joining Tesla over 8 years ago he has been involved in many key projects across the region including the Cook Islands Renewable Energy Sector Project and the Riverina Energy Storage System which pioneered grid-forming functionality in the Australian energy market, more recently overseeing the execution of over 14GWh of projects throughout APAC. Prior to Tesla, Shane led business development in Australia & the Pacific for ComAp integrating renewable energy generation into traditional thermal power generation which followed 9 years as a control systems engineer with SAGE Automation. Shane holds an Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree from Flinders University.
