In his present role Sean leads a specialist financing team within Baker Hughes, a GE Company (“BHGE”) that originates and executes financing transactions across the capital structure and develops commercial strategies to enhance the growth of BHGE. Prior to this role he spent 3 years as Managing Director for GE Capital’s Energy Financial Services’ unit and was responsible for financing to support the GE Oil & Gas business. He is a 22-year GE veteran and spent 12 years at GE Headquarters in the US where he served as the Global Head of Structuring in the Sales & Project Finance organization where he led an Emerging Markets focused team that structured numerous investments and guarantees, Export Credit Agency transactions and sales financing programs for the Power, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Transportation and Healthcare segments. Sean also held various roles in Europe for GE Capital ranging from head of lease placements in GE Capital Markets to positions in structured finance, leasing and financial planning & analysis. He started his career in 1993 as an internal auditor for Groupe Accor in Paris, France before joining GE Capital in 1996. Sean holds a Bachelors of Business Studies & French from the University of Limerick in Ireland.
