Sasathorn Phaspinyo is the Managing Director of the Thailand Operations of FedEx Express Corporation, one of the world’s largest express transportation companies. He leads over 1,200 team members and is responsible for planning and the implementation of corporate strategies and operations in Thailand. Sasathorn started his career at FedEx in 2004 as an Engineer. He brings over two decades of invaluable experience in driving local and regional business operational efficiencies and growth within the business. He rose through the ranks by assuming several roles in Operations Management, Planning and Engineering, and Customs Clearance in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Prior to his current role, Sasathorn was Manager of Planning & Engineering, where he oversaw ground network planning and infrastructure development for Thailand, Vietnam, and Indochina. Sasathorn played an instrumental role in the successful integration of FedEx and TNT operations in Thailand and Vietnam. He was also honored with the Five-Star Award twice, the most prestigious award within FedEx, in recognition of his achievements in enhancing customer experience and driving efficiency improvement programs in 2011 and successes in leading regional cross-functional projects in 2021. Sasathorn holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, and Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
