Ryan Patrick is a curator and arts administrator specializing in public art and arts in health. Currently, Ryan is the Director of Public Art, Arts in Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest municipal hospital system in the United States. In this role, he stewards a permanent collection of 8,000 artworks—the largest non-museum collection in New York—and oversees Arts in Medicine's exhibitions and installation program, commissions, special projects, and conservation initiatives. Previously, Ryan managed the NYC Mural Arts Project, collaborating with artists and mental health advocates to produce large-scale public artworks across a range of contexts in NYC. Ryan holds an MFA in Curatorial Practice from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
