Rob Hetem is a respected strategist, industry leader, and tourism sector developer with over 25 years of international experience in business development, market growth, and transformation. After a successful corporate career with British American Tobacco and Hyundai Motor Distributors, Rob pivoted into the MSME tourism space, where he has since become a leading voice in enterprise development and inclusive growth. He has played a pivotal role in national and regional tourism initiatives, including SATSA’s SAT Hidden Gems Program, Limpopo High-Flyers, KZN EDTEA and TAFA programs and serves on multiple industry boards and committees such as SATSA and AID (Access, Inclusivity and Diversity). Rob is a multi-award-winning recipient of the Titans Building Nations CEO Global Awards across Southern Africa, SADC and Pan-Africa in 2020 and 2021. With a passion for empowering women and youth as business leaders, Rob combines real-world entrepreneurial insight with certified expertise in leadership and executive coaching to drive transformation across the sector.
