Ram Subramanian is a senior executive in the HVAC industry bringing more than 20 years of experience from the air-conditioning industry. He is currently leading Samsung Electronics’ Air Solutions business across Southeast Asia and Oceania. In his current role, Ram is spearheading Samsung’s regional business transformation into a Smart HVAC leader in the region with a focus on driving the adoption of energy-efficient and advanced air solutions and technologies through new business models. He is committed to capability-building across the region, supporting subsidiaries with strategic direction, training infrastructure, and partner enablement for both the commercial and residential sectors. Ram holds an Executive Program in Managing Sales Distribution Channel and Teams from Harvard Business School, a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Auckland, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from RV College of Engineering, India.
