<p style="text-align: justify;">Mr. Rafik Amara is currently the Senior Gas Market Analyst within the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), where he has been since February 2020. Prior to joining GECF, Mr. Rafik Amara spent close to 14 years in a variety of Commercial roles in the Algerian national oil and gas company SONATRACH. Rafik spent 5 years as Head of natural gas pipeline operations exports in charge of the three Algerian pipeline exports lines to Europe. Rafik spent 7 years as Natural gas and LNG Marketer in the Sonatrach Trading Activity, where he held roles of increasing responsibility, in a wide range of commercial areas including Commercial Analysis, Business Development and Contract Negotiations, in charge of natural gas contracts to the Italian, Sloven and Tunisian market.</p>
