Dave Campbell is the SVP for Mauritania and Senegal (M&S), overseeing bp’s business interests in the region, including the cross-border Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) LNG mega-project. Dave has previously worked in a range of technical and leadership roles in bp, most recently as VP Production for Asia Pacific. In this role, Dave was responsible for overseeing the safe startup of the Tangguh Expansion Project, and he will now be applying this expertise to GTA. Over 35 years with bp, Dave has directed major projects globally, showcasing his adaptability across diverse operational landscapes in Oman, Egypt, Canada, Spain, and the USA. Overseeing various projects spanning process plant operations, startups, and high-hazard assets, Dave, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Chemical Engineering, has consistently prioritised safety and efficiency, driving operational excellence. He has also demonstrated comprehensive relationship management when fostering collaborations with government entities, notably during the establishment of the first bp business unit in Oman.

Dr. Abubakar Abbas is a Senior Energy Forecast Analyst at GECF’s Energy Economics and Forecasting Department. A unit that monitors analyses, and forecasts medium- to long-term energy trends, Abubakar oversees the overall consistency of the modelling work of the GECF Global Gas Outlook 2050 and alternative scenario development. He also ensures the integrity of the GECF Global Gas Model used for forecasting. Abubakar holds a PhD in Gas Engineering, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and is a Chartered Engineer (UK).

Zackarie Fortin-Brazeau is the Vice President – LNG at Karpowership, bringing over 10 years of specialized experience across the entire global LNG value chain, encompassing liquefaction, shipping, terminals, FSRUs, and downstream distribution. He currently leads the strategic development and implementation of Karpowership’s comprehensive LNG-to-Power strategy across the Americas, Africa, and Asia. This critical mandate includes managing LNG supply and trading, leading the commercialization of the FSRU fleet, and leading LNG-focused M&A and strategic partnerships. Prior to his current role, Zackarie held significant positions as Commercial Director at Avenir LNG, where he focused on small-scale LNG development. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Ottawa.

Aïda Mbaye is a Senior Manager at Performances Group, a strategy consulting firm operating across West and Central Africa. She supports the Government of Senegal in the design and rollout of Vision Sénégal 2050, and advises both public institutions and major industrial players on the development of extractive-sector value chains, industrial strategy, and national transformation programs. With more than 12 years of international experience, Aïda has worked across Africa, the Middle East, and the United States. During her time at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Dubai and Houston, she led strategic transformation projects for national oil companies, ministries, and large energy players. She began her career as a reservoir engineer with Schlumberger, giving her strong technical grounding in the energy ecosystem. Aïda is widely recognized for her expertise in local content, industrial competitiveness, and Africa’s energy transition. She holds an MBA from HEC Paris and an engineering degree from Arts et Métiers ParisTech, and represents a new generation of African leaders committed to sustainable and inclusive industrialization.
