Rachid Hamida is the Vice President of Energy and Technology at Enova, where he leads the company’s energy business line and drives the implementation of its ESG agenda and Net Zero roadmap across the MENAT region. He is responsible for the strategic growth, profitability, and performance of the Energy Division, including the delivery of high-impact energy performance contracts and advancing innovation in energy management. Since joining in 2017, Rachid has expanded Enova’s ESCO activity and strengthened its technical and commercial capabilities. He has built successful partnerships with OEMs, equity funds, developers, startups, and government entities, integrating energy engineering, Hubgrade smart monitoring, renewables, and asset management under one function. Previously, Rachid served as Global Head of Digital Transformation at Veolia, and held senior roles at Dalkia, CGI, and Steria, managing large-scale transformation programs across Europe and the Middle East. A recognized thought leader in energy transition and a frequent speaker at major regional platforms, Rachid also sits on multiple advisory boards including the Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC) and Dubai Renewable Energy Business Group (DREBG). Rachid holds a Master’s in Intelligent Transportation Systems from École des Ponts ParisTech and a Civil Engineering degree from École Nationale Supérieure des Travaux Publics, with executive certifications from Veolia, IFP, and PEGASUS Leadership. He is passionate about creating meaningful change through innovation, driven by a commitment to building a better future for the planet.
