Paul Leddie is the Director of Procurement and Commercial for SSEN Transmission, leading procurement and commercial strategy across the business, including regulatory periods (RIIO T2, RIIO T3), Pathway to 2030 projects and customer connections. Paul leads a directorate of over 150 staff, who are responsible for securing the supply chain and commercial pipeline required to deliver over £22 billion of planned investment. His team oversee all procurement and commercial activities, including strategy development, supply chain performance, cost and commercial management, and post award contract delivery. With more than 16 years’ experience enabling major programmes for SSEN Transmission, Paul plays a key role in supporting the company’s long term growth and net zero ambitions. He also serves on the Steering Group for the ENA’s Electricity Networks Sector Growth Plan, providing strategic industry insight to help shape the long term actions needed to accelerate grid upgrades, strengthen supply chains and support workforce and manufacturing growth across the UK electricity networks sector. Prior to joining SSE, Paul worked as a Procurement and Commercial Manager in the Oil & Gas industry.
