Paul leads Solar Victoria's policy, program and industry development teams, delivering customer-centric programs that empower Victorians to access safe, high-quality and affordable renewable energy. This includes partnering with training providers, industry and relevant government bodies to support the continued growth and development of a safe, innovative and sustainable renewable energy sector in Victoria. As leader of these teams, Paul strives to keep customers and participating businesses at the forefront of program design, to ensure Solar Victoria services are inclusive and accessible to Victorians and contribute to a trusted and thriving solar sector that benefits everyone in the state. Prior to his appointment as Executive Director, Policy Programs and Industry Development, Paul led Solar Victoria’s risk-based audit program, working with key stakeholders, including regulators, industry bodies, Government and businesses, to develop and implement risk and assurance mechanisms for the Solar Homes Program. Paul came to Solar Victoria with a strong record in policy reform, regulatory compliance and risk management across various sectors including as General Manager Operations at Transport Certification Australia, Manager Waterway User Safety at Transport Safety Victoria and as the Director of Reform Policy in the Victoria Taxi Industry Inquiry.
