Biography: Paolo Casadei is the Business Development Leader for Owens Corning Composites in Europe, focused on driving innovation in concrete reinforcement through fiberglass composite rebars. He also serves as Co-Chair of the “Standards and Certification” Working Group within the European Composite Rebar Council (under EuCIA), supporting the advancement of composite rebar standards across Europe’s building and construction sector. He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Bologna (Italy) and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri–Rolla (USA). With over 25 years of international experience, Paolo is recognized as an industry expert in the application of advanced materials enhancing the durability and sustainability of concrete structures. He contributes to major professional organizations, and other European and global technical committees.
