Nikolaj Knudsen

Nikolaj Knudsen holds a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from The Technical University of Copenhagen as well as a Post-Graduate degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Mulhouse and has been with TOPSOE his entire professional career since graduation in 1997. He has been employed in a number of different roles including Process Engineer, Project Manager, License Manager, EPC Relations Manager, Head of Proposal Management and Product Line Director. Nikolaj has been responsible for several first-of-a-kind technology sales throughout his career. In November 2022 Nikolaj joined the Power-to-X organization in Topsoe as Head of Business Development to apply his skillset from decades in the traditional fossil-energy based chemicals world in a nascent and rapidly developing Power-to-X market. As part of an organizational change in 2025, Nikolaj added the Market Development and Marketing functions to his part of the organization.
