Gudfinnur Sveinsson, CEO of Brineworks, has spent the past decade working on climate solutions - investing in climate tech, founding an environmental NGO, and contributing through research and writing. He holds an MPA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and conducted climate policy research at the Earth Institute. Mr. Toby originally joined FuelCell Energy as Vice President Business Distribution Operations in October 2003, and has been instrumental in establishing the Company’s overseas presence particularly in Asia, where he led the market entry into the South Korea market with POSCO Energy, and in Europe, where he helped to establish FuelCell Energy Solutions. In the mid-2010s Mr. Toby took over responsibility for behind-the-meter sales in the U.S., securing orders for projects with a diverse set of end use customers in California and the Northeast U.S. including hospitals, wastewater treatment facilities, and universities. Prior to joining FCE, Mr. Toby served as VP International and OEM Sales for Capstone Turbine Corp. in California, where he helped with the design of industry-leading low emissions combustion systems and later in a sales role with Capstone’s entry into the Japan market. Mr. Toby is a registered Professional Engineer in Connecticut and holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering from the University of California campuses at Irvine and Berkeley respectively.

Dr Emma Guthrie is the CEO of the Hydrogen Energy Association (HEA). With over 100 members, the HEA is the voice of UK hydrogen sector, dedicated to supporting stakeholders across the entire value chain. The HEA is a leader in advocating for hydrogen to deliver clean growth, energy resilience and net zero. Dr Guthrie is a distinguished leader in the hydrogen sector, with extensive experience in advancing hydrogen technologies and infrastructure. Her career includes 15 years at Air Products where she held a range of positions, including UK Business Development Manager for Hydrogen Energy. In this role she spearheaded the deployment of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and infrastructure, through the coordination of multi-stakeholder demonstration projects. Emma also spent nine years at speciality chemical distributor IMCD Group in a variety of commercial roles.

Since 2020, Joachim Ladra has been responsible for the newly created functional areas of sales, after sales, marketing, and communication at cellcentric GmbH & Co. KG since 2020.
