Nick Wilski heads up MIF globally and is a Managing Director within Macquarie’s Asset Management group. He joined Macquarie in 2010 to build and manage the Macquarie Insurance Facility (MIF). In this role he had oversight of the portfolio of Macquarie owned and managed business and oversaw the expansion of MIF to third party financial sponsors. In 2017 he moved to New York to grow the business in North America. Whilst in New York, he established many of the current MIF partner insurer and broker relationships, as well as hiring a head of North America to take the business forward. Nick then returned to London in 2020 to oversee the MIF business in EMEA, before assuming the role of MIF Global Head in 2022. Prior to joining Macquarie, Nick worked at Willis in London and in Saudi Arabia focusing on financial lines insurance and political risk. In addition, Nick has worked in Sudan and Lebanon and holds an MA in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies.
