Mukund Dhar is Head of White & Case’s Africa practice and has substantial oil & gas experience, especially in emerging markets. He advises sponsors, developers, utilities and lenders on international projects, project financings, investments, acquisitions and privatisations. Mukund has played a key role on a number of recent market leading transactions including advising Energean Oil & Gas plc on its acquisition of Edison Exploration & Production S.p.A. (Edison E&P), the lenders on the financing of Trident Energy L.P.’s proposed US$1 billion acquisition of the Pampo and Enchova oil fields in Brazil from Petrobras, Ghana National Petroleum Corporation on a number of LNG linked gas sale agreements, the lenders on the US$2 billion financing of Lines 1 and 2 of the world-scale Eleme urea fertilizer production facility in Nigeria and on a number of upstream acquisitions and agreements.
