Monica Rovers, Head, Business Development – Global Energy at Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) has over 20 years of international relations and business development work experience in non-profit, private and public organizations across multiple sectors. Monica facilitates global energy development by assisting Canadian energy companies to grow internationally and encouraging foreign companies to enter the Canadian market. She has led and hosted numerous international trade missions and has built a strong network of local, national and international colleagues and organizations, particularly in the energy sector. Monica is invested in the growth of international businesses and building connections between international organizations and businesses. She has worked and travelled in: Brazil, China, Colombia, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, UK, US, and Vietnam. Monica holds an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University.
