Mehmet Korkmaz is a Learning and Development Specialist with the UNICEF Supply Division and is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Prior to joining the HR team at UNICEF, he worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, Italy. He has extensive experience in designing and delivering learning programmes for different target groups and leads the online learning initiatives for the UNICEF Supply Division. Mehmet holds a Master's degree in Sociology and Pedagogy and is specialised in blended learning, e-learning, instructional design, social media, educational technology and knowledge management. He recently delivered comprehensive learning programmes to develop capacities of food security professionals in three regions: Southeast Asia, Western Africa and Eastern/Southern Africa. Mehmet is a member of the UNeLearn network and engages with various expert groups and online communities to exchange knowledge on good practices and trends in the field of online learning.
