Mark Woollatt has spent over thirty years working in IT from supporting end users in helpdesk and desktop roles through server support and architectural roles, with the last twenty years specialising in cybersecurity. Supported by industry recognised certifications including CISSP, CISM and recently completing an MSc in Cybersecurity and Management, Mark specialises in translating cyber risk into practical, business relevant decisions that enable organisations to operate securely at scale. The BISO role acts as trusted partner to the business, helping align security strategy with commercial objectives in a complex, global environment focuses on embedding security into products and platforms, strengthening organisational resilience, and fostering constructive relationships between security teams, technologists, and senior stakeholders. Mark brings deep experience across information security, identity and access management, cloud security, human security and vendor risk. A regular contributor to industry discussions and events, Mark is a strong advocate for pragmatic security, clear communication, and community knowledge sharing. He is particularly passionate about demystifying security for non technical audiences and helping organisations move beyond compliance driven approaches towards sustainable, risk based security maturity.
