Mark Hume, Director and Portfolio Manager, covers the energy sector and co-manages the Natural Resources team’s all-cap energy funds, including the BGF World Energy Fund. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2017, Mr Hume was an energy portfolio manager at Colonial First State Global Asset Management. He had previously worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan and Wood Mackenzie as a senior equities analyst covering large-cap energy stocks. Mr Hume holds a MEng in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh.
