Marco Saalfrank is Head of Continental Europe Merchant Trading and Member of the Management Board of Axpo Solutions AG. Marco began his career at Axpo Solutions (formerly EGL AG) in 2001 and has held a number of management positions since then. In his current role (which he has held since 2014), Marco is responsible for Proprietary Merchant Trading and Structured Energy Trading, which also support origination activities in continental Europe. In addition, Marco is responsible for Axpo’s gas trading business, which includes LNG trading and long-term gas contracts. Marco holds a PhD in Physics from ETHZ in Switzerland
