<p>Louise Burton is an Emmy Award-winning Sound and Music Editor with over 8 years of experience in the film industry.</p> <p>Having studied Sound Design at the NFTS from 2016 to 2018, she landed her first job in the industry as the Sound Assistant on the Academy Award-winning film Bohemian Rhapsody. Since then, she has worked her way up through the sound editorial ranks, contributing to films such as <i>Saltburn</i>, <i>Moonage Daydream</i>, and <i>The </i><i>Quiet Girl.</i> More recently, she has stepped up to Supervising Dialogue and ADR Editor, working on the&nbsp;highly acclaimed film <i>Kneecap</i>, for which she was nominated for a BIFA. In addition to her work in film, Louise has also worked on several HETV shows as a Supervising Dialogue and ADR Editor, using creative techniques within the dialogue to aid the storytelling.</p> <p>Her work on Janicza Bravo&rsquo;s <i>The Listeners</i> is a prime example of this. Other notable projects include <i>The Devil&rsquo;s Hour</i>,<i> Douglas Is Cancelled</i>, and <i>Line of Duty.&nbsp;</i>Louise has had an excellent start to her career in what can be a challenging and male-dominated field. She is passionate about increasing diversity within the industry, doing outreach in schools and&nbsp;colleges, and returning to the NFTS as a visiting tutor.</p> <p>Her recent projects include the latest installment of the rom-com <i>Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy&nbsp;</i>and Emerald Fennell's much anticipated <i>Wuthering Heights</i>&nbsp;starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.</p>
