Leonora leads a team responsible for Events Permitting, Film Permitting, Events support, sponsorship management and is tasked with attracting major events to Cape Town. In addition to her experience in strategy, management and operations of major events, Leonora has extensive background in government communications and public affairs. She is currently overseeing the review of the City of Cape Town film strategy, film policy and film by- law while also leading the Film Cape Town initiative aimed at promoting the Mother City as a film and media destination.
