Dr. Katarzyna Grudlewska-Buda studied biotechnology at L. Rydygier Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in Poland and graduated as MS in 2014. She received her PhD degree in 2020 at the same institution. Her research is focused on study of antimicrobial activities, microbial tolerance to stress factors, antibiotic resistance, and assessment of expression levels of virulence genes of clinically important pathogens. Her interests extend to Enterococcus species and characterization of these bacteria from non-clinical sources. Dr. Katarzyna Grudlewska-Buda has published 63 full-text publications and contributed to 5 chapters in monographs.
