Jost Hamschmidt

Jost coordinates the teaching administration at the Department of Management, Technology and Economics. He holds a Ph.D. from University of St. Gallen and has been a visiting research fellow at UC Berkeley (2002/3) and Harvard Business School (2007/8). He has spent 15 years in positions dealing with curriculum innovation and academic intrapreneurship. During this time he initiated and co-developed international academic projects such as the oikos Global Case Writing Competition, the ETH PhD Academy on Sustainability and Technology and the CEMS Model UNFCCC, a simulation of the UN climate change negotiations. He is a founding member of the Impact Hub Zurich Association and initiated the ETH MTEC Teaching Innovations Lab in 2015. Jost is married and a father of 3 kids.
