Jorge Segovia is a senior engineer on the energy transition team at the American Bureau of Shipping. A graduate of the University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley, he spent the first 6 years of his career in service of the design of machinery for engine, fuel storage, refueling, and dispensing. He has also managed teams in the design of the very same systems for production and safety. He now works with the American Bureau of Shipping developing rules and requirements for alternative fueled vessels and other alternative energy solutions.
