Jayanti Kar is an associate partner in McKinsey’s London office, and a core member of our Petroleum Asset eXcellence team, advising energy companies on strategy development, organizational redesign, and operations transformations. In this capacity, she has led several business transformations for oil and gas majors and independents in Africa, Asia, Australia, and Europe, helping energy companies address the margin-eroding effects of inconsistent production efficiency and high operating costs; and designing reliable solutions for reaching efficiency-improvement goals. In addition, she is increasingly advising clients on how to make the most of opportunities emerging from the energy transition and the next wave of automation and digitization in the sector.
