Dr. Nayak is a urologic oncologist and Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Manitoba, where he serves as Program Director for the Urology Residency Program. His clinical practice focuses on male urologic cancers and men’s health, with academic interests in education, quality improvement, and care delivery innovation. He is the co-founder of Men’s Health Clinic Manitoba, a physician-led clinic and ambulatory surgical center developed to complement public urologic services by improving access, care coordination, and outpatient surgical capacity. Since its establishment in 2022, the clinic has delivered over 100,000 patient visits using a rapid-access, patient-centered, team-based model of care. His work explores the role of ambulatory surgical centers, multidisciplinary care, and alternative delivery models in expanding access to urologic care while maintaining quality and alignment with Canada’s publicly funded health system.
