Irtiza Sayyed was named President – ExxonMobil LNG Market Development Inc. on April 1, 2019. In his role, he has global responsibility for ExxonMobil’s Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) portfolio with a focus on identification of, and developing, new markets where LNG can be sold from ExxonMobil’s projects as well as its joint ventures. Irtiza is based in Singapore. Prior to his current role, Irtiza was Vice President – LNG Marketing, ExxonMobil Qatar. He was responsible for supporting and advising ExxonMobil’s partner Qatar Petroleum on LNG Marketing strategy as well as the joint development of new LNG markets. Irtiza was also a member of the Qatargas Marketing committee a joint venture between ExxonMobil and Qatar Petroleum, and a Director on Board of Directors for Ocean LNG, a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and ExxonMobil, marketing LNG from Golden Pass Terminal in the US Gulf Coast. Irtiza joined ExxonMobil in 2006 in Houston, Texas. He has held various management positions in ExxonMobil’s natural gas marketing and business development organizations. Earlier in his career with ExxonMobil he held various positions in Corporate Finance, Strategic Planning and Refining business. Irtiza holds a degree in Engineering and an MBA and prior to joining ExxonMobil worked in the Industrial healthcare and Banking sectors. He is married with two children and lives in Singapore. Irtiza enjoys playing golf.
