A former trial lawyer, I now represent the United States of America as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. State Department. I am posted with my family at the U.S. Embassy in Dakar, Senegal, where I advise the Ambassador on economic issues and lead our economic and commercial team. Former posts include the U.S. embassies in Nairobi, Kenya, San Jose, Costa Rica, Riga, Latvia, and Manila, Philippines. I am passionate about advancing the interests of the American people abroad. My specialties include international law and diplomacy, science diplomacy, energy and environmental policy, corruption and investment climate issues, human rights, commercial advocacy, IPR policy, and immigration.
