Dr. Corbin earned a B.A. in Biology from Hofstra University in New York, and a B.S. in Visual Science and O.D. degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. He serves as a member of the Adjunct Faculty at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Drexel University and as an Associate Professor/Adjunct Faculty at Illinois College of Optometry, on the Allied Health Medical Staff at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center (Chief of Optometry) and as a Consulting Staff member at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Reading. Dr. Corbin is a Clinical Preceptor for Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Drexel University and at Illinois College of Optometry, training 4th year optometry students. He serves as a Principal Investigator for numerous pharmaceutical companies in conducting clinical trials to test new medications and devices, having conducted more than 50 FDA clinical trials. Dr. Corbin is recognized for his lectures, both locally and nationally, and has authored numerous professional articles and contributed to several textbooks. He serves our community as a member of several Boards including Penn State Health St, Joseph Medical Center Foundation, Exeter Community Education Foundation (Founding member), Friends of the Exeter Township Police Department (Founding member) and Exeter Fire Advisory Board. In addition, he serves on the Xenon Ophthalmics Scientific & Business Strategy Advisory Group, an emerging technology company. Dr. Corbin is also a KOL/Consultant for MOA Open Access/Rx Sight and Ocubio. Dr. Corbin practices comprehensive primary medical eye care, with special interest in ocular surface disease management.
