Gero Farruggio is Head of Rystad Energy in Australia and leads the firm’s global renewable energy practice. With more than 25 years’ experience across directorships, senior management, consulting, and advisory roles, Gero brings deep industry insight and a passion for the community. Before joining Rystad in 2017, Gero founded Sustainable Energy Research Analytics – later acquired by Rystad Energy – and spent 16 years at Wood Mackenzie in leadership positions. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and serves on the Advisory Board of Greenhouse, Australia’s largest climate tech hub.
