George H.H. Beiko is a medical graduate of Oxford University and completed his ophthalmology specialty training at Queens University in Canada. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and authored 20 book chapters. He has given over 800 scientific presentations. He has been awarded four best papers of session at the ASCRS annual meeting, Winning Video in Cataract Implant Surgery in the ASCRS Film Festival, 5 video awards in team competitions, 2 Best Poster Awards at AAO, Best Paper of Session (Cataract) at APAO-AAO Joint Meeting and the Best Original Paper in Cataract Surgery at AAO. He is on the review panel or editorial board of over 30 ophthalmology journals.
