Ganesh Nayak is the commercial and early asset development leader of hydrogen/ ammonia supporting the USGC business of Chevron New Energies. In this role he is responsible for accelerating Chevron’s lower carbon business prospects, including the commercialization and building strategic alliances in hydrogen/ ammonia for transportation, power, industrial, and other difficult-to-abate sectors. Most recently, Ganesh served as hydrogen and ammonia product leader at Air Products in Allentown, PA. Prior to that, he held product management roles at both Honeywell UOP and GE Energy. During his career, Ganesh has worked in the areas of hydrogen, HyCO, gasification and carbon capture, and spearheaded launch of several new products and solutions in the oil & gas and petrochemicals sectors. He brings passion around sustainability and energy transition to his work. Ganesh holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Pune, India, and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona. He has completed executive education at both MIT’s Sloan School of Management and Wharton School of Management at the University of Pennsylvania.
