Chingis Idrissov is a Technology Analyst at IDTechEx, an independent market research and business intelligence company focusing on emerging technologies. Chingis holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London. At IDTechEx, Chingis works on hydrogen and decarbonization related topics. He has authored multiple market reports on the Hydrogen Economy, Blue Hydrogen, Green Hydrogen and Materials for Electrolyzers.

Jeffrey Pollack is the Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer at the Port of Corpus Christi Authority, where he oversees all planning, environmental, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) functions. Jeff leads the Port’s energy transition and decarbonization strategies, including commercialization of all links in the hydrogen production and export value chain as well as deployment of both onshore and offshore carbon capture and geologic storage. Jeff joined the Port in mid-2018 as its inaugural Director of Planning, with responsibility for organizational strategic planning, land-use master planning (with an emphasis on coastal resilience), transportation planning, federal and state grant pursuits, and Technology Advancement Program. Prior to joining the Port, Jeff served as the Executive Director for the Corpus Christi Metropolitan Planning Organization. Jeff specializes in growth and development issues in coastal zones and brings specialized experience in multi-modal transportation and watershed planning. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Northwestern University and a Master’s degree in Coastal Environmental Management from Duke University, where he was a Doris Duke Conservation Fellow. Jeff is a certified planner through the American Institute of Certified Planners and is an Envision Sustainability Professional through the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure.

Luciana Mendes is Global business developer with Alfa Laval for water in Green Hydrogen. She is a Chemical Engineer with 13 years experience in Industrial Projects, with the last six years focused on water desalination projects. She is passionate for Green Hydrogen and the importance of water usage to make the process more sustainable.

Satyum Joshi is an Engineering Manager at FEV North America, Inc. with 12+ years of experience in simulation, controls, calibration and testing of engines, hybrids and fuel cell powertrains. He has a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Doctoral Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University with specialization in advanced boosting and vehicle electrification. Satyum's expertise includes model-based development of electrified powertrains, engine combustion system development and powertrain controls development.

Dr. Jorgen F. Rufner is the lead EFAS scientist and Advanced Manufacturing Group Lead at INL spearheading their development and scale up efforts of electric field assisted sintering techniques, which includes both small and large scale EFAS systems (DCS-800 and DCS-5). He is an expert in utilization, implementation, and mechanisms of EFAS techniques as well as the synthesis of bulk nanostructured materials. He has broad knowledge of powder processing, feedstock creation, and sintering via traditional and non-traditional methods. His background also includes expertise in ultra-high temperature ceramic systems, microstructural and chemical analysis of polycrystalline materials via analytical transmission electron microscopy, grain boundary engineering of nanoceramic systems, and thermodynamic measurements via calorimetric methods, with 10 years of industry experience in the technology and energy sectors developing advanced manufacturing processes and the construction of power plants.

Chris Granger has spent three decades in the industrial gas business. In his most recent position as Vice President, Linde Gases, he was responsible for executing and leading business units in operations, sales, management, and safety. He also served as General Manager for Linde revamping sales operations to better align with corporate strategic goals.

Dean Schmidt has been working in emerging energy markets for more than 20 years. His current role at Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc, is establishing and managing partnerships within the complete supply chain for today and future Fuel Cell and Electrolysis manufacturing.

Jeff Taylor is the Vice President of Decarbonization at Orennia, the leading data analytics firm for the energy transition. Before joining Orennia, Jeff played a key role in supporting the development of one of Western Canada’s largest CCUS hubs. His extensive background also includes successfully building renewable natural gas projects across Western Canada and developing midstream assets for a leading oil and gas midstream company. In addition to his energy sector experience, Jeff has worked for major freight railways in both Canada and the United Kingdom.

Shane Hughes has been in the Power Industry for over 20 years. He has worked for several major Energy OEMs supporting large scale product and solution implementations. Presently, Shane leads the North American sales and business development activities for the CCUS and STG market(s) for Toshiba America Energy Systems Corporation, (TAES). He has extensive experience with carbon capture systems, steam turbine generators, and balance of plant items. Shane holds a Machine Tool Degree from York Technical College, Bachelor of Science Degree from Winthrop University, and a Master of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Entrepreneurship also from Winthrop University. Shane resides in Rock Hill, South Carolina and enjoys golf, travel, and sporting events.

David Gregory, P.E. is the Manager of Business Development for FlexSteel Pipeline Technologies. Formerly the Manager of Technical Services Engineering, David leverages over a decade of Oil & Gas industry experience to specialize in blending the technical and commercial benefits of spoolable pipelines for various applications. David is a former upstream Facilities Engineer and holds a Petroleum Engineering degree from Texas A&M University and a Master of Energy Business degree from the University of Tulsa.

Glenn Lansford serves as the President and CEO of IHI Energy Solutions, Inc. located in Houston, Texas. Mr. Lansford is responsible for the development and operation of IHI business interests in the North American market for decarbonization solution technologies such as hydrogen and ammonia as alternative energy carriers, carbon capture utilization & sequestration systems, bio-mass conversion and utilization, and long-term thermal energy storage systems. Mr. Lansford has worked in the energy industry for over 33 years, first as an engineering consultant with Black & Veatch and for the last 16 years with IHI. In his career, Mr. Lansford has served in many roles in the design, equipment supply, and construction of a wide variety of energy and power generation projects in North America, Central America, and Southeast Asia. Mr. Lansford advances IHI’s transformation into a global provider of decarbonization solutions through an array of technologies and key partnerships.
